UX-751 Shop by Category as main content on HP (Above the Fold)

Description: Users tend to use the shop by category sections on the homepage but currently is not prominently featured (usually below the fold).

Hypothesis: I believe that Shop by Category is consistently the most used element on the homepage and does a good job at getting users to an appropriate PLP. If I’m right, making the primary content on a homepage Shop by Category will increase engagement, PDP view rate and OCR.

Methodology: A/B Testing

Option A: Tabbed Categories w/carousel gallery

Option B: Exposed, static Categories w/ gender on hover or tap

UX-757 Find My Size Tool (Merrell)

Description: As brand is selling more and more apparel besides footwear, there is a need to help shoppers find the best size option according to their body type and how they wish the items to fit. Moreover, it is hard to find the perfect fit by just looking at the size chart measures as nowadays shoppers expect to be able to personalize their purchase to their own body as much as possible.

Hypothesis: I believe that if we provide customers with a tool to help them find their size by entering their own measures, and also consider other factors such as age, undergarments size and the kind of fit and look they’d like to achieve we will increase OCR (Order Conversion Rate), AOV (Average Order Value) and reduce returns rate.
