Search results on Mobile
As part of the Staples mobile optimization effort, the objective is to display more items above the fold on search results screen than currently displayed. The SKU tile in use at the moment occupies the full with of the screen and in most cases only one SKU tile can be seen in full view above the fold. As I had design a narrow/small tile to be used inside certain carousel components on HP, I proposed to adapt this tile for the new use case needed.
UX Research Goals
* Evaluate the ease of use, scanability, and user confidence of the two per row SKU tile on mobile search results.
* Task: Identify how many items are on display.
* Method: Unmoderated sessions using eye tracking software (Optimal Sort)
* Demographics: 8-10 US adults who regularly shop online.
